OUR COMMITMENT: HUMANITARIAN SURGERY

Humaniterra au Bangladesh

HumaniTerra International is a Non-Governmental Organization founded in1998, which is specialised in humanitarian surgery.

Its goal is to help developing countries and their people to emerge from great political, economic and human crisis, and rebuild their health systems (operating, teaching and rebuilding).

Each project is the fruit of the population’ or their representatives request.

13 years of humanitarian commitment around the world.
Since 1998, over 350 professionals have volunteered to heal the poor, to teach the medical personnel and rebuild health units around the world.

Over 2500 consultations are carried out each year. More than 1500 severely burned patients are looked after, bandaged and re-educated in our Cambodian, Bangladeshi, Afghan, Haitian and soon Malian infrastructures. Hundreds of children suffering from deformities, club foot, or cleft lips are operated on. Dozens of surgeons, anaesthetists, doctors and nurses have been trained in their country or in France.

Today HumaniTerra is one of the biggest humanitarian surgical NGOs in Europe, thanks to the amount of missions carried out and the range of surgical fields practiced.
